MORTON GROVE, Ill – June 3, 2016 – Alfa introduces Multi-Purpose Hole Saws with diamond-ground tungsten carbide teeth for powerful efficient hole cutting in more than 20 different types of material.  Designed for the tradesman, such as electricians, plumbers, contractors, and kitchen and bath remodelers, these new Multi-purpose Hole Saws can be used in drills with either a standard drill chuck or SDS-plus shank.

These Multi-purpose Hole Saws are suitable for use in a wide variety of materials including: soft and hard wood, plywood, wood core plywood, chipboard, laminate, sandwich material, plastics, acrylic glass, masonry, wall tiles, brick, plasterboard and blocks, Heraklith boards, aerated concrete, solid bricks, vertically perforated bricks, roofing tiles, and limestone.

The new Hole Saw series is offered in a size range of 3/4” to 3” diameter with 2-1/8” depth of cut.  The large chip clearance slots are designed for rapid uninterrupted drilling. 

Also, new to the line are the four arbors that include a series for standard drill chucks and a series for SDS-plus power tools (to be used in Rotary function only). The SDS-plus shank features a power-change adapter providing fast and safe securing and releasing of the pilot drill bit and the hole saw with just one click, saving the user time.
